The Emerald Resort is situated in a small township known as Emerald, some 40km south east of Melbourne's CBD. Located within the Dandenongs, which contain over 250,000ha of national parks and numerous tourist attractions.
Among the major tourist attractions are the National Rhododendron Gardens, Sherbrook Forest, and Puffing Billy Railways. Apart from these attractions, there are numerous stately homes and gardens such as Mawarra, Burnham Beeches, Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens and Pirianda.
It is within this setting that The Emerald Resort is located. Reached by a pleasant drive through magnificent scenery from Melbourne within the desired 45 minutes. The Cedar Room and Bunga Raya Suite are ideal for weddings, receptions, Corporate Conferences or on any occasions. The Emerald Country Club house (as it used to be called) has two wonderful stone open fireplaces, which is ideally suited to providing a cosy and warm winter functions. Since the 1920's this function room has provided warm and many happy memories to the many golfers and guests who has the opportunity to enjoy the hospitality that it has to offer. It can comfortable accommodate up to 100 guests couple with a dance floor area for those happy hours.
The beauty and tranquility of Emerald makes it a favorite location for conferences where the combination of clubhouse facilities, the surrounding bush, the contrasting golf course setting and the very friendly and professional staff all serve to provide for a memorable occasion.
