Kodak's Capture Pro Software Adds Output Module for Scanning Data into Computhink's ViewWise Document Management Software

Kodak and Computhink announce a new output module for Kodak's Capture Pro Software designed to help small and medium sized organizations work more efficiently with information from paper-based documents. The output module enables users to send scanned documents and index data directly into the ViewWise Document Management Solution. ViewWise can help strengthen business processes, improve customer service, reduce costs and ensure compliance within several industries, including government, financial services and healthcare.

The output module for Capture Pro Software adds an essential document capture component to ViewWise that enables businesses to automate forms processing procedures. Capture Pro Software extends advanced imaging features, including barcode scanning for organization and optical character recognition (OCR) for auto-populating index fields.

Accessible from a web or desktop interface, ViewWise allows users to define and configure document filing and search settings to achieve greater control over their information processes. ViewWise also provides support for more than 400 native files formats, including Microsoft Office products, Adobe Acrobat PDF and MIME-encoded mail messages.
